We respect your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you visit freedomheadliners.com or order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email taylor@freedomheadliners.com and we'll explain in plain English.
What we collect
Order information: name, email, phone (if provided), shipping address, Jeep model and year, the design you ordered, and your custom artwork or photos if you upload them. Payment information is collected and processed by Shopify. We never see your card number.
Communications: messages you send by email, Instagram, or TikTok DM, plus our replies.
Verification documents: if you apply for the military or first-responder discount, you email us a photo of your ID to prove you qualify. We ask you to black out your Social Security number and date of birth before you send it. We read it only to confirm eligibility, then we delete it once your discount code goes out. We do not keep it on file, sell it, or use it for anything else. See the veterans and first-responder discount page for how that works.
How we use it
To produce your headliner, send your mockups, ship your order, answer your questions, and tell you when something has shipped. We do not sell your information.
We share what's needed with the companies that help us run the shop, and nothing more. That list is our store and checkout platform (Shopify), the payment processor that handles your card, the shipping carrier that delivers your order, a cloud database and storage provider that holds your order records and any artwork you upload, a hosting and content-delivery provider that runs the site and keeps standard security request logs, and an email delivery provider we use for order updates and the newsletter. Each one only gets the piece it needs to do its job.
Custom uploads
When you upload a photo, logo, or artwork for a custom order, we use it only to create your mockup and print your panels. We don't post your custom art publicly without asking first. Now and then we'll ask whether we can share a finished install on social, and that is always your call.
How long we keep things
Once you place an order, we keep the artwork tied to it so we can reprint a panel or sort out a problem if one comes up. Files you upload while you're still working on a design, but never order, get deleted automatically after 30 days. A design you start and never finish is cleared within 24 hours. You can ask us to delete your files or your contact information at any time and we'll take care of it.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your contact info or your uploaded files, request a copy of what we have on file, or unsubscribe from any list. If you're in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to tell us not to sell your information, though we don't sell it in the first place. Email taylor@freedomheadliners.com and we'll handle it directly. No portal, no forms.
Cookies
This site does not run its own analytics, advertising trackers, or retargeting pixels. When you check out, Shopify sets the cookies it needs to process your payment and prevent fraud. Our server keeps standard request logs to keep the site secure and running. Your browser settings control cookie behavior, and the site works cleanly with cookies turned off.
Changes
We update this page when our practices change. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Bigger changes go out in the newsletter and on social before they take effect.
